Complete In Thee

I was privileged to preach a youth camp a few weeks back in Washington State with a great group of friends and pastors. During one of the morning sessions, the music director led the camp in singing a song entitled "Complete In Thee." As I listened to the words of this song, I was so encouraged and moved by the doctrine found in this incredible song! After a bit of research I discovered that the song was written in the 1800s and was put to a new tune in 2003. I have not stopped singing this incredbile hymn that was put to a new arrangement since I got home! I hope you will learn this song and incorporate it into your daily worship!

Stanza 1:

Complete in Thee, no work of mine could take dear Lord the place of Thine.

Thy blood hath pardon bought for me, and I shall stand complete in Thee!

Yea, justified, oh blessed thought! And sanctified salvation wrought!

Thy blood hath pardon bought for me, and glorified I, too, shall be.

Stanza 2:

Complete in Thee, each want supplied, and no good thing to me denied,

Since Thou my portion Lord, will be, I ask no more, complete in Thee!

Stanza 3:

Complete in Thee, no more shall sin Thy grace has conquered reign within;

Thy blood shall bid the tempter flee, and I shall stand, complete in Thee!

Stanza 4:

Dear Savior, when, before Thy bar, all tribes and tongues assembled are,

Among the chosen I shall be, at Thy right hand complete in Thee!

"And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" - Colossians 2:10
